We are looking for Communication Support Workers (CSW) London area. Casual full time or part time. Hourly rate dependent on qualification & experience.

To enable deaf students to access, as fully as possible, the curriculum and life in a mainstream college.

Casual – Electronic Note-Takers

We are looking for casual notetakers who are qualified or have a willingness to train. Ideally the person should be qualified to degree level and have the ability to take write notes in a clear and legible way on behalf of a deaf student.

Most of our deaf students prefer to have electronic notetakers, so it would be an advantage if you can use a laptop and type at a good speed. You will need to have a high level of English and a Maths (grade C or above). Experience of work in the FE sector is desirable.

Casual British Sign Language Tutors – Level 3 and 6

London Area: Evenings and Weekends depending on course

Starting: September 2018.

We are a hearing impaired secondary school in South London who have a facility to teach sign language. We are looking for British Sign Language Tutors who can teach adult students the iBSL and Signature curriculum as requested by Deaf First.

The successful candidates will be required to work the evenings and Saturdays depending on course dates. We need individuals who have the ability to engage the student in the process of learning and to encourage confidence.
